Awesome Activities

 

1.  First draw a picture.  Then ask someone in your family to critique it being kind, helpful, and specific.  Then redraw the picture using their suggestions.  You can also do this with a story that you write.

 

2.  Play a math game.  "Roll the Dice Twice, Addition Tic-Tac-Toe, Odd or Even.  , Subtraction War, Race to Zero, or 3 Strikes You're Out.

 

3.  After you read a book rewrite the ending or write what you think happened after the ending of the book.

 

4.  Practice your second grade site words.
