High Tech High Five

 

To introduce the habits of heart and mind, also known as the “High Tech High 5”, our class will be creating a slide show to demonstrate how these qualities could look at HTe.

Why:

• To deepen the understanding of each word.

• To explore a new way of presenting information.

• To learn to work collaboratively while making critical decisions about their work.

Essential Question:

• How can we exemplify the High Tech High 5 in our school, at our home, and in our lives?

Stages:

• Learn the meaning of each word.

• Discuss characters we have read about that are empathetic, curious, reflective, act confidently, and have integrity.

• Groups of students brainstorm ways to practice these habits in everyday life.

• Capture these moments in a still frame photo.

• Compile photos together in a slide show program to help other HTe students deepen their understanding of the High Tech High 5.
